Busy Weekend

I had such a busy weekend with many visitors here for my dedication. I even learned how to sit up on my own. When I've perfected it, I will let mommy take a picture. Mommy got everyone together for a BIG family picture on Saturday. Sunday I was dedicated to the Lord. A dedication is when Mommy and Daddy commit to God, in front of our church family that they will raise me to know Christ until I can make the decision to follow God on my own someday. Mommy and Daddy pray for me daily along with Mommy's family that I will make this choice and walk close to the Lord always. After church we had a party at our house and when everyone left, I fell asleep for several hours. It's hard work to look this cute! We had a great weekend with our whole family and missed the one's who didn't get to come. I hope I get to meet them soon!

First Baseball Game

This was my first baseball game with my daddy. We went for Father's day. It was a little warm but we had fun. We went under the misters to cool off and I really liked that. I'm sure we'll go back soon.

Father's Day

Mommy and I let daddy sleep in and then we surprised him with gifts. He was still a little sleepy, as you can tell from the pictures, but he liked the gifts he got. One of the gifts we got him was tickets to a Fresno Grizzlies Baseball Game. We went to church and grilled steaks for dinner. We had a fun day.

Picture Perfect

Mommy wanted to take pictures for Father's day, so we ventured outside for a photo session. However, I was sort of cranky so she didn't get many good shots. I can't be good all the time, I have my moments too. Mommy said I look a lot like Daddy in these pictures but she still sees some of her family in me every once in awhile. My eyes are still blue like hers. Just the other day at church several people said I looked like her. I must be a really good mixture. Mommy and Daddy said our little family is a blessing from God.

Fun Times

I like to do many things but some of my favorites things are bath time and play time. On this particular night I fell asleep while Mommy was giving me a bath. I don't care for my sling but Mommy trys to put me in it. I'm too big for it and feel squished. Do I look comfortable? I didn't think so. I wake up early in the morning to eat and then go back to sleep. Daddy and I both went back to sleep.

3 Months

I'm 3 months old today! I weigh around 14lbs. I can hold my head up really well now especially when I'm on my tummy. I can sit up in my stroller now with the carrier seat. I can also sit up lying against things or in someone's lap. I like to pull myself up to a sitting position and standing position while holding someone's hand. Of course I love to smile and sing songs with Mommy. I'm growing, growing, growing everyday and Mommy is always taking pictures.

Sniffles,Sneezes and Coughs, Oh My!

On Thursday I went to meet my new Pediatrician. Dr. Mehrotra is very nice, I like her a lot. She checked me out and talked to Mommy about my acid reflux. She said Mommy was doing all the right things. Mommy was also concerned because I had been congested for 3 days and was coughing. The doctor said I had a respiratory infection and that I should be better in 7-10days. This is my first cold! I've been extra snuggly with Mommy and she makes me feel better. Oh, I should also mention the doctor weighed me and I'm 13lbs 8oz!

Pool Party

Today I went to my first Pool Party. It was Carlene's 10th birthday. She's a family friend from church and a former student of Mommy's. I couldn't get in the pool because I have a little cold. It was fun watching the girls jump in and dive off the diving board. Carlene opened her gifts and had a Sponge Bob cupcake cake. It was a fun day but I wasn't feeling well so I was a little fussy.

Tummy Time

I love to lay on my tummy and play. I'm getting so strong, Mommy says. I'm starting to pull myself up into a sitting position while holding on to Mommy's fingers. When I lay on my side I roll over to my back. This made Mommy cry. She said I was getting too big, too fast. Sorry, Mommy! I'm growing big and strong so I can drive my Fisher Price Cozy Coupe like my Uncle J.R. had! Hint Hint! Tell Santa that's what I want for Christmas.
